14,410 feet above sea level, Mount Rainier stands as a main point of the Washington landscape. Subalpine wildflower meadows surround the icy volcano while ancient forest flood Mount Rainier’s lower slopes. I went on some hiking trails by the visitor centre and this view was beautiful looking opposite from the volcano. The trees and colours really caught my eye. There were also plenty of deer munching the grasses around this area.
